EWBF Miner running, but minerfarm say is isn't [pimp 2.4.1-all]

This behavior is whether the miner is started via startup.sh, or if I do it at the CLI. The miner runs, but neither the CLI prompt, nor minerfarm shows any hashrate or active GPUs. If I run HTOP, the miner is definitely running.

If I show the miner console using "sc", it comes up fine.
If I use "pimp --test 1", the console doesn't come up, nothing happens (a new prompt appears).

If I "pimp --stop all", it asks if I want to stop the miners, I say yes, and nothing happens (the miner isn't stopped).

In HTOP, there are 13 instances of ewbfminer running (I have 3 GPUs).

This is a stock install (with the exception of CFGs - I copied those from my previous install).

Any thoughts? I'm at a loss!

Yes this is due to EWBF inferior API code. We miners have filed the following issues asking him to fix this behavior, with no response. He does not care about the miners.

Until he resolves this or we write or find a better miner you will have to stop, wait, test to see if it comes up with API support, or simply sync && rb like I do.

Thanks for the quick response. Did the version of EWBF change in 2.4.1? Everything worked normally in previous PIMP builds.

Same issues, doesnt close most of the time requiring a reboot, 1 rig has been mining on it for 2 days my other rig just loses hash after a while.... Crazy

Yeah i dont think the miners not stopping is confined to ewbf, ccminer does the same thing, requiring a reboot to stop it. I think ill go back to the previous version, i had none of these issues with it.

I will likely do the same. I have 2 SSDs that I rotate, so I can just swap it back to the previous version. The new version isn't really getting me anything at the moment (besides problems).
