Welcome to the PiMP OS and Miner.farm forum.

XFX RX 580 At least one miner appears to be running.

  • Humm:
    This cant be right.

I've looked on the board and I have not seen an answer close enough to my situation so I shall ask.

My GPUS are seen in the hardware.
However only one BusID: 0b:00.0 is giving feedback.

Meanwhile my miner view it says:

    00:00 Alive 287 h/s NA NA 77C 45% 0 W
    0b:00 Alive 305 h/s NA NA 77C 48% 0 W
I'm also not seeing power usage, accepts/rejects as a side note.

3 GPUs seen in hardware ('lspci' output):
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 610 (rev 04) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

0b:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Ellesmere [Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590] (rev e7) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

0d:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Ellesmere [Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590] (rev e7) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

GPUs reported by AMD driver ('amdmeminfo' output):

Try disabling onboard GPU in the bios, and then connect the hdmi to any hdmi port of the first GPU closest to the CPU.

  • Thank you, gentlemen.
I ran the help me and I have some updates to do.

  • I have it working now.
What I didn't know was my local monitor had to be plugged into the GPU with lowest number card slot ( for me it was A01) using the B250 board and I had it plugged into the board HDMI video port.

However now I get a login screen and it won't go to the desktop. I can SSH in, but I cant local my user and password doesn't work?
