Rig keeps rebooting every time I start mining...
-
Hi all,
This is more of a confirmation that my PSU is probably dying. But, basically I ssh into the machine run gputool --config and then pimp --start 1.
States that its running and then I enter the screen with 'sc' and it starts for a moment and then it essentially sounds like a clicking noise and seems to reboot.
I've been running this PSU 1600w for a solid 7-8 months non-stop so I wouldn't be surprised but just want a little confirmation that this is most likely the case.
Thanks all

That does indeed sound like a PSU tripping. Just curious as to the brand, 7 months isnt that long. Have you tried moving the load around some, maybe look at the wiring.

I think its a p2 1600

Does it do it with 1 GPU only?
