Gigabyte GA-270P-D3 BIOS Settings (PiMP OS v2.6+)

** Note: The pics are not of the highest quality due to the physical location of my farm, however, they are still usable, so I've decided to add them anyway.

To start, you will need to verify/update your motherboard's BIOS to the most current mining specific BIOS.
As of 10/23/2018, BIOS vMIN.F8a is the most current and should be used.

You can get the BIOS files from the Gigabyte Mining website: Here Scroll all the way to the bottom to see the table of boards/BIOS files.

Once your BIOS has been verified/updated to at least vMIN.F8a, you can begin the steps below.

    Step 1: Set Optimized Defaults
After entering the BIOS you will want to move all the way to the last tab and select "Load Optimized Defaults".
Next, save the changes (even if it says nothing was changed), reboot the machine, and re-enter the BIOS.

** Note: This step is needed due to the way this motherboard handles the "CSM" & "Secure Boot" features. Failing to do this step will most likely cause you a ton of problems. Disregard this step at your own sanity.

    Step 2: Settings

    Chipset Tab

    Step 3: Save and Reboot
Now head back over to the last tab and "Save Changes & Reboot". The system should now see your PiMP OS v2.6+ SSD and boot normally.

** Note: If in doubt of your settings or you wish to reset them, be sure to restart this process with Step 1. Again, due to the way this motherboard handles the "CSM" & "Secure Boot" features, failing to do this step will most likely cause problems.

    Happy Mining, PiMP's!
