G-Technology USB3 drive with SATA port
Can I install and run PIMP from an external USB drive that has a SATA connector?
The drive is not an SSD but has a speed of 7200 RPM. Is the SATA port sufficient for PIMP?

If your system will boot it, you should be fine. Most SATA SSD and HDD seem to work fine with PiMP. You can write the image with USB connector/enclosure/dongle or directly using SATA.
