You have to apply the values by running
gputool --config
-
@melt I did
-
Anyone have any Ideas? I cant get the fans to adjust to 100 Percent,
Tried removing the gpu-config.json and rebuilding. Done every step on this page.
Cannot get the fans to go above 22%
Any help would be appreciated."gpu_id": "0",

@jcarpenter
Hello jcarpenter,
Could you confirm which miner you are using, as I know for instance with claymore dual in the Flag section that both “—ttstop” and “—tt “ need to be deleted otherwise it overrides gputool settings.
Best Louis

@louis Found the solution, Using Claymore Dual but only mining one. Used the -fanmin to 90 solved the problem. Unit running swimmingly now.
-
@jcarpenter
Many thanks for the update jcarpenter, and glad your rig is running smoothly by adding "-fanmin", great work :)
Best Louis

New youtube video added to top of original post! Thanks Doc.

ohgodatool has been modified to use PCI BUS ID as the -i parameter instead of AMD's idea of the number.
Here is example how to use:
