Startup.sh stopped working after pimpup
Startup.sh does not seem to apply gputool --config after each reboot.
The following are in place and checked:
- Crontab is in place
- gputool config file is in place
It was working in the start, only stopped working after pimpup was done.
Hello, did you try running the startup.sh manually?
Here is my example, gputool sees that the miner is running, but you should get the idea:
[Agent: m195-3x1070+970 (Running) Total HR: [1.55Kh/s] Miners running GPUs [AAAA]] [10:42 AM][Uptime: 21d 16:52][root@pimp2(10.0.0.195)] [/opt/confs]:# /root/startup.sh PIMP GPU Tool v20170925 Platform type: NVidia NOTE: At least one miner appears to be running. Are you SURE you want to change values? Not all changes may be applied. y/N
However, when it was ran by crontab after reboot, the gputool --config command does not work but minerfarm --start worked. (i.e. config json settings were not applied successfully).
Change the sleep times perhaps. If it runs part of the file, it runs all of the file. Thanks!

I would add a sleep command inside startup.sh for the gputool command. See the underlined area below for an example
Thanks BRSM and melt. It is working now after the delayed gputool --config.
