Well, you had it working before, so what did ya change? :)
This is a known issue with some AMDs when onboard graphics are not correctly disabled in the bios - however, besides the desktop being inaccessible (it should always boot straight to desktop. There is no password set for the pimp user.) you can simply SSH in and carry on normally with mining, and/or control the rig via miner.farm (if you have miner.farm paid subscription)
If you want to try a few things, just jump back on discord and someone can walk you through getting the desktop going.

what a killer tool =)
I edited out entries in startup.sh and removed crontab entries so I could run them manually while I was trubbleshuutin

Hello, sorry for the troubles - we were able to determine that the issue was with our CDN, and it is reported by our testing to now be resolved. Please try again and let us know if you have further issues!
Hello phunk000, this is a limitation of the new xmrstak, you will have to update PIMP OS image to 2.8.6 to run that miner, or restore the backup from /opt/miners/xmrstak.backup to /opt/miners/xmrstak and run the older xmrstak that doesn't require a newer OS.
Well I found your order and fixed it for you just now. Refresh the page.
For others, If you scroll through https://getpimp.org/home-landing/my-account/downloads/ and do not see it listed for some strange reason, then provide Order number and we can fix you right up. If you want to do so in private just jump on the Discord (discord.me/pimp) and we will help you out asap.
Of course, this month we release miner.farm 3 and the downloads will be quick links right on your miner.farm account page in miner.farm 3, along with all your pimp keys and transaction history. Things are going to get a whole lot easier very soon. Thank you for supporting our work! :)
Zach, you probably did it right. Sometimes the files can take a few seconds to download and unpack in the background thread. I have caught myself doing pimpup --auto then trying to add right away or something and having to wait a few seconds. Thanks for your support! Post some numbers here if you can and we'll pass them on to DK and Zealot from the Z-enemy team :)
I can confirm that your key did not expire. Sorry to hear you're having problems getting set up. There are a couple of solutions that we have found for this issue, I've outlined them below:
Ensure that your key is entered correctly
Your key will not successfully validate if there are any extra hidden characters in the key, or if the key is entered incorrectly. We recommend using ssh to paste the key in, and you can find those instructions on our forum post: Entering the Key for the First Boot. We also recommend using a notepad to ensure that you are getting a clean paste with the correct characters (sometimes changing the font also helps identify outlier characters or similar letters/digits).
Use SSH to paste the key in like the video shows.
Reimage PiMP OS
Errors with how the image was made can leave the image unwriteable. To solve this, you'll need to 'finish' the image burn correctly with 'eject' or 'close' commands in the writing software. If that doesn't work, you may want to try using a different write method altogether. Check out our information on How to Write the PiMP OS Image using Windows or Linux or Mac OSX.
Use a different SSD/Disk
If neither of the two above issues resolve your problems, it might be that the image target has excessive errors or a pattern of errors that the writing software can't avoid. To resolve this, try installing the image with a different SSD/Disk.
@jmiddleton03 You would want to remove all references to fans and temperatures, like "gpu-fans" as these are a default failsafe but it overrides gputool.
Hello, sorry for the late reply, but this is how you set up the motherboard: https://forum.getpimp.org/topic/5076/asus-b250-mining-expert-bios-settings-pimp-os-v2-6
I would say: use pimp --test 1 instead.
Beyond that, Come into discord for live troubleshooting. We cannot reproduce this issue across any rigs or versions of pimp.
